Opening ceremony...
Boy Scout Color Guard Reagan and Katie pose with Brownie Troop #95
I was so proud of the girls that showed up for flag placement at the National Cemetery. I was a very moving experience despite the fact that that everyone had to get up so early and travel.
It only took less than 30 minutes for each of the 12,000 (approx) graves to have a flag placed on them...the amount of people that came out to perform this community service was outstanding. We should be ever mindful of the service these soldiers gave to our country and the freedoms we are allowed to enjoy!
